Active duty guy here. Flag/anthem are not sacred symbols for veterans or the deceased. If you think they are so revered, go to a military base and ovserve how many people are at “Morning Colors” when the flag is raised. You don’t speak for all veterans. Veterans do not get to decide what the flag/anthem mean to the citizens of this country.

Actually more companies need to go with the “don’t like it, don’t buy it/play it/shop here. Far too many consumers think they are the only thing that matters.

It’s the correct response, and one many companies should get behind. We have a bunch of morons going out of their way to make a big deal out of something that isn’t. Arguing with them makes everone look dumb. Caving makes you look weak or “proves” them right, and going at it aggressively makes the company looks foolis…

Considering, for example, the mere existence of gay people in games has some people crying “political!”, I don’t think those people are being reasonable.

Imagine being so insecure that a fake woman holding a position of authority in a videogame made you uncomfortable. I'm not at all surprised that their celebacy is involuntary.
