The Waldo Moment sucked, and has much more to do with Trump than an expensive phone.

Had he treated her like that when she was in better health I’d be more inclined to shrug it off, but not to someone with advanced dementia who doesn’t even understand it. If you want to kick someone, you don’t do it when they’re already on the floor. And I’m speaking as someone who has a bitter and damaged…
BoJack is aware that his behavior hurts the people he cares about, and he feels guilty that they suffer as a result, and he’s finally working up the nerve to try and change that behavior. Part of his self-loathing feedback loop, and also his motivation for trying to break out of those destructive patterns, is that…
Beatrice was a cold and unloving mother, by all indications, and Bojack may be a slightly better horse than he once was, but he’s still not the forgiving type. He may want to be a father to Hollyhock, but he wants the love and respect he assumes come with the role, not the patience and self-sacrifice. Where Hollyhock…
If you’re into Buzzfeed at all, and especially if it winds you up a bit when you’re reading it, the GirlCroosh bits are hilarious.
I’ll agree with Les Chappell that giving Seth MacFarlane an Emmy for voice acting (and for fucking Family Guy, no less - American Dad! would be more understandable) over Kristen Schaal for BoJack Horseman is a disgrace.
What the fuck are you even angry about? That she lived in three places?
The birthday sign that says “Happy Birthday Mr. Peanut Butter Peanutbutter is One Word Don’t Write ‘One Word.’”
Great first episode; solid review by Mr. Chappell. Let’s nitpick!
I love this fucking show so much. I always try not to watch too quickly and then that never ends up happening. Also the background gags (my favorite of the episode is attached, love that the photo of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is tilted) are consistently amazing and one of my favorite things about it.

“I haven’t been this nervous since Diane was vacuuming during a thunderstorm on the 4th of July and I had to take a bath and there was a stranger in our yard.”
I can’t believe I didn’t pick up on the cow tipping joke until they underlined it this episode.
The important thing is a sense of fair play. If Democrats were to focus on class and economic issues, not only would they be drawing on their decades of electoral success, but with the middle class all but dead and the vast majority of Americans feeling the squeeze of an economic system that is stacked against them,…
Peter Daou is like one of those Japanese soldiers in the Pacific still fighting WWII decades after it ended. He refuses to surrender or log off. He will never stop posting to defend Hillary’s honor.
It doesn’t take a political mastermind to understand that perpetual outrage at Trump and his supporters is not a sound campaign strategy, yet Democrats are still fixated with fucking that chicken. Save a high cholesterol, or an unlikely impeachment event, I don’t see how he is going to be defeated in 2020.
It’s simple, see. The more Verrits you make, the more Verrit Points you get. Trade in those Verrit Points for Verrit Bucks. When you’ve saved 50 Verrit Bucks, you can get a Verrit Star. Trade those Verrit Stars for merchandise from the Verrit Gift Shop.
Unfortunately, it would seem we haven’t learned anything.
Peter Daou is everything wrong with the modern Democratic Party. Neoliberalism and a poor solutions to modern day problems. The fact he’s picking fights with Chapo Trap House is the icing on the cake.
Reading this review, I just realized that Vincent Adultman and “Dougie Jones” are nearly the same character. Normal Adult says something, they repeat part of it and Normal Adult thinks it’s an appropriate response.
