Most lumps in pre-menopausal women are related to monthly hormone changes; your doc may ask to you to monitor it for a month, and it may disappear at the end, or beginning of your period. I had one like that in my thirties. Freaked me the hell out, but it disappeared. That said; do go to your doctor.

Well that’s basically what was so frustrating. He seemed very eager for us to meet, and was messaging me most days. It’d be no big deal if he just wasn’t interested, but it’s the most conflicting behaviour I’ve experienced so far.

that’s so badass, good for you!

Just don’t. She’s your boss.

Having a bit of a frustrating week and I just need to vent into the void!

It’s a bad idea; there are so many ways this could go wrong.

Yeah, I’d go with bad idea for now. Especially since you mentioned she’s your boss; even if it’s more a “first among equals” situation than being your line manager, that gets hinky fast from an HR perspective.

I couldn’t tell you whether it is/will be love or not. But it does make me happy and doesn’t break my Grief Rule: does it cause myself or anyone else harm? No? Go do.

Well at the tender age of 13 the dog has decided to finally start earning a living, clearly as a model.

I’m likely going to make myself a greyhound shortly.

Hey, Jezzies! What’s everyone drinking tonight? I’m going with a red wine from Trader Joe’s that cost $4.

Oh look, it’s the worst take. Glad we got that out of the way.

Nope. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut. Not easy, perhaps, but doable, and if you make yourself a nonstory reporters aren’t going to bother past a certain point--they’ve got deadlines to meet.

The entire maternal side of Meghan’s family seems to be managing just fine without turning into a salty, thirsty, embarrassing hot mess.

I’m assuming ‘retard’ or ‘retarded’. There’s a campaign in schools called “Erase the R word” so that’s what my assumption is based on.

Yes exactly! None of the “budgeting” in any of these money diaries are even remotely attainable by anyone who lives on their own and pays for all their bills alone. It just made me feel shitty.

I wish folks were more honest about that. I was listening to a “Pod Save the People” episode featuring two (white) men who study the racial wealth gap, and they were talking about how often transfers of generational wealth are left completely out of the narrative. People say “Well, I worked hard at my 9-5 and then

““money challenges” that will supposedly incentivize the reader to save upwards of $500.”
