Happened in little league - one teammate was hit square in the balls by an errant throw. He naturally dropped to the ground like a rock and the rest of us helped him off the field.

Just giving that GLORY BOY pitcher what he deserves!

I was playing high school ball back in the day, and we had our third string short-stop in there because we were blowing the other guys out. He was so nervous, that when he got a ground ball, he threw it about 1/4 of the way to first base as hard as he could. Almost straight into the ground—except there was an umpire

Yeah, it is a weird spot. She is fully entitled to it and knows it to the letter, but if she was also being a bitch about it, you kind of feel resistant to wanting to expedite her requests. Throw in if she was one of those "You missed a spot, do it over" types.

Ugh, this is really hitting home as I search for that unicorn unit in Toronto.

I agree. I don’t like people who treat service staff badly, or who bring pointless nuisance lawsuits, but she had a signed contract for these things so I don’t understand why the hotel would think she shouldn’t get them.

Honestly, while it would’ve been nice to know she understood her luck in the lottery of life, I can’t really hate on her either.

Check the roof of the hospital

That guy is clearly just trying to get a helicopter.

Highlight of my youth baseball career: playing left field when the other team’s big hitter absolutely crushed one down the line a hundred feet over my head. The left field fence was 380 feet to the pole and didn’t even belong to the baseball field, it belonged to the next field over. Ball bounced twice and somehow

Ah, the old Upton defense:

AARRRRRRGGHHHHH

The internet is a neutral medium. It’s people who are terrible.

I mean, did they not see this coming? It’s like the hitchhiking robot that was found destroyed shortly after it first entered America. We do not deserve nice things, as all we do is destroy them.

He is a hardline conservative on most issues who is certainly more in favor of boots-on-the-ground interventionism than the mainstream, but he’s not a “shut down the government” guy, nor is he a bigot or a cretin. Yes, he holds Republican party line positions on every issue, and no, I don’t agree with any of them. But

Lindsay Graham, though ever the belle of the ball, is an extremely dangerous radical and I hope this latest junket doesn’t convince people otherwise.

This morning on MSNBC, he said “If Trump wins, we’ll have to build a wall to keep people IN.” And then “John Kasich would beat Hillary by eleven points, so obviously he’s out.”

Anthony Adams twitter is really under appreciated.
