I like how the yeti is wearing a sleeping cap through. Another good place to dissipate heat is through the old noggin. Don't sleep in a hat if you're trying to stay cool.

We installed Quartz countertops, and that was our biggest expense of the remodel. They look amazing though, and are very durable. Our house still has the original hardwood cabinets (1960), so we refinished them and installed new hardware. We will probably replace the tile flooring soon.
I stay away from all non-dimmable LED bulbs. Power surges (like when the AC kicks on) can sometimes kill them.

Yeah, and still get throttled all the time.
I wipe off the excess on the rim with a brush first before closing. Helps prevent rusting too.
I get your point, but he’s cooking a gigantic cut of prime rib which is usually roasted in an oven for a long time anyways. If grilling most people would just sear it then move it to indirect heat or into an oven to finish roasting, which is kind of what he’s doing.
Prime rib cuts like this are usually slow roasted and not intended to be a quick and easy type of steak for grilling.
I picked up a power line adapter that had wifi, and it’s been awesome for increasing the wifi range to the far end of the house. Cool little gadgets.

Red potatoes and spinach
Thought about doing that at one point, but you lose any type of payment reduction options if you lose your job or something. We applied for income based repayment a couple times while funds were low, and it helped a lot. My wife just landed a sweet new job, so we hopefully won’t need to do that again.
We’re in a similar situation. It’s still crazy to me that we were able to buy a house that cost significantly less than what my wife still owes on her student loans. Not to mention at a much better interest rate...
Way more factors go into it than just mileage. 10-15k might be the absolute max life for certain snythetic oils in smaller vehicles that do mostly highway miles in mild climates over flat terrain. Just because the oil might last that long, doesn’t mean it will perform at an optimum level once it reaches those limits.
Scroggins Machine. It’s on the corner of 59 and McGowen. They often have a wait list, but that’s because they are in high demand. Expert service and quality is hard to find these days.
Since when is less than 10k intervals obsessive? Even for full synthetic that is pushing it.
Yeah, never use car oil in a bike. Trucks and larger engine vehicles usually do better with synthetic, but smaller engines might make much of a difference.
Yeah, my dad and uncle own a engine machine shop in Houston, so I have to listen to them when they tell me to use full synthetic.
So if you live near a coast with average weather and drive a decent distance regularly, then it might make sense to use regular over synthetic? I think it’s safe to say that most people are better off using synthetic in the long run.
