We’re in a similar situation. It’s still crazy to me that we were able to buy a house that cost significantly less than what my wife still owes on her student loans. Not to mention at a much better interest rate...

Way more factors go into it than just mileage. 10-15k might be the absolute max life for certain snythetic oils in smaller vehicles that do mostly highway miles in mild climates over flat terrain. Just because the oil might last that long, doesn’t mean it will perform at an optimum level once it reaches those limits.
Scroggins Machine. It’s on the corner of 59 and McGowen. They often have a wait list, but that’s because they are in high demand. Expert service and quality is hard to find these days.
Since when is less than 10k intervals obsessive? Even for full synthetic that is pushing it.
Yeah, never use car oil in a bike. Trucks and larger engine vehicles usually do better with synthetic, but smaller engines might make much of a difference.
Yeah, my dad and uncle own a engine machine shop in Houston, so I have to listen to them when they tell me to use full synthetic.
So if you live near a coast with average weather and drive a decent distance regularly, then it might make sense to use regular over synthetic? I think it’s safe to say that most people are better off using synthetic in the long run.
Very good timing on this article. Strange coincidence... We’re about halfway through a couple of pounds of strawberries we just bought. Rarely buy them too!
There’s a link above that shows Adam Savage’s all metal case build. He wanted a case that was easier remove and replace the tool one-handed. If I ever get a Leatherman Wave, then this is the kind of case I want.
Yeah, thought so. Thanks.
Does it actually delete them, or just hide them?
Will jail breaking allow you to delete unwanted Apple Apps like “weather”, “newsstand”, etc.?
Or maybe use something like a full length mirror instead of some artwork, so you can hide the outlet too. Then the cables will look as if they just run on the ground behind the mirror.
That makes sense, but what I asked for was slightly above average for this area.
I agree, but it’s hard to know sometimes. I actually asked for slightly above average. What they offered is near the top end of my field, and it turns out that they like to take really good care of their employees. Nice benefits too like 5% 401k matching.
I told my new employer how much I wanted to make, and they wrote a formal offer for 13% more than that.
Especially if there's snow on the ground to reflect it!
That’s what I hear.

From everything I’ve heard it’s got a very bad rap nowadays. Causing major deforestation to make room for planting palm trees. Usually forests are burned down killing or severly injuring orangutans and other species. Displacing them from their habitat. It may be a good article to share on “Skillet.”
This is a fantastic chart. I’m really glad to see how much of a healthier option Sunflower oil is! I use that for almost everything, and it imparts zero flavor. I’ll use extra virgin for low heat cooking, or as a finishing oil sometimes. After seeing this, I think I will pick up some flaxseed and try that instead of…
