I've seen a recipe for St. Louis style ribs that is smoked with corn cobs. Similar technique, but you just put the cobs directly on the coals instead of on the grate. It still creates steam to help make it nice and juicy, while imparting a little bit of corn flavor.

A friend of mine recently did something like this. He needed to have his lot re-platted, and turned out several of the people on the block needed to as well. So they got a huge discount for having them only to come out once and split it.

I prefer to not have poopy drawers... Thanks.

Thanks Junior High and High School! If kids weren't so damn mean, we'd probably grow up not having to worry about things like this so much.

The difference is read/write speed. All class 10's are not the same. The pricier one is about twice as fast. Check the numbers like "45/mbs", "95/mbs", etc. on the card to see how fast it really is.

I broke mine during use. Damn cheap metal... I'll go with this perforated lemon routine next time though, since I'm all for reducing the amount of kitchen gadgets I own.

Are you a stalker? That seems like something only a stalker would know.

A block of sal ammoniac is good to keep around for cleaning up tips as well.

Also, larger chisel tips like this one, are used for stained glass. Irons are rated at different temps, and some are variable.

I think this works better about taking on new opportunities as a general rule of thumb. Not just stuff that's on your regular to do list. I don't think it should be applied to menial tasks like "cleaning the dishes", but rather "should I work another part time job".

That's because when you pay off an old loan, that line of credit is closed and it changes the average age of your credit lines.

I messed up a recipe in my pressure cooker, and didn't put enough liquid in. The result was a thick burnt coating on the bottom I thought would never come off.

I'm going to a restaurant tonight and will be ordering several entrees. I'll pay for the one I enjoy the most.

I'd definitely be interested.

I can't get Hulu or Netflix to work on the most recent version.

When I try explain rules and the consequences for not following the rules, I just get blank stares, and I don't think it makes any impact...
Unfortunately negative reinforcement seems to be the only option sometimes. We find that spankings are too harsh, so we use a squirt bottle. It seems to work the best.
I should

Reminds me of the Emergency Number song from The I.T. Crowd.

The average age of cars on the road is 11 years.

How considerate. I guess.

I saw a video of this on Engadget a couple of days ago. My immediate thought was that it looked nothing like Mario Kart, and that a regular go-kart track seemed way more enjoyable.
