Same with me and iMacs. My previous lasted 3 years before I sold it, with the need to upgrade. The one I have now is over 3 years old, and it's about time to upgrade. Mainly because the RAM is maxed out at 2GB, and I need more to edit 18MP photos. I'll probably be looking for a i5 refurb model to upgrade to.

I agree, plus at that altitude with slower wind speeds, the vertical turbine might be more efficient of the two. Although, where they have that turbine placed in the photo, that doesn't seem like it would be an issue there.

Logically, I find it strange that the T2i falls in between these two. Then again, I understand it, because I'm sure this can benefit Canon by helping sell new product to confused, less knowledgeable consumers. It's just weird that the T2i (550D) is better than the T3 (600D?). I hate branding.

I have some pretty cheap third party wireless triggers. You can get a decent set for under $100, but they don't support TTL. They don't compare to anything like pocketwizards of course.

I agree, I was nervous that I would want to upgrade, but that's not the case. I had an XSi and when the T2i came out I had to. It was a big step up.

That's what autofocus is. Otherwise you have to focus manually by hand.
