Have you tried Craigslist? I found a small complex for 1349 ( now closer to 1400 but it’s rent controlled so onlu 4% increase max because the landlord also pays for water and the gas bill). It also depends on where you’re looking. Good luck!

I had a job offer in Cali and it was about $100k less than what I would need to maintain my current standard of living. Housing prices need to go down there, the current level is not sustainable.

This is why I dont accept any jobs in California.

I am in the same boat, if I want anything remotely nice I need to tack on an hour or more to my commute.

I feel like drawing the same line, personally. Once you get into whole professional teams of people and semi-professional or professional photo shoots, to me, it takes the “play” out of the cosplay concept. This almost feels like it has moved from cosplay into something else when they need a team of people to get it done at this level. Coswork, perhaps?

Don’t get why so many are so willing to jump in and defend against any criticism made against Star Citizen. Yeah I’ve played the new map, it’s pretty bright, but isn’t terrible to me. It does work like the rest of the arenas, so even without the obvious walls it’s still possible to tell where it will bounce.

hmmm. that’s unfortunate. I played a few rounds last night, but I haven’t seen this arena yet. I was pretty excited to see a new venue too.
