I used a needle, but ya same thing. It helped a bit, but the problem didn’t completely go away. Maybe I have a pebble in there or something?

It says my phone isn’t eligable :(

Ya, I did that too and oh man there was such a surprising amount of gross in there! It definitely helped the problem (it had stopped charging altogether at that point) but the issue never fully went away.

I’m always so worried about those third-party places... but ya, trying to hold out for the new phone too :3

I slapped a screen protector on my first iPhone when I got it before even using it once. A year or so later it got so gross I peeled it off... and suddenly it felt like I was having a religious experience! The glass feels sooooo good! I’ve been running around with a naked phone since, without ever cracking a screen or

“The serial number you entered is not eligible”

Say whaaaaaaat??? Seriously? Ok then!! I didn’t know this! I mean, they have my email, they coulda let me know! I’m going to look in to this! Thank you!!!

It’s this attitude that makes it seem like putting these articles on Kotaku are an excellent idea. Maybe someday you’ll see one that resonates with you and you’ll actually read it and gleen some good advice from it.

My iPhone 5 is pretty far gone. It shuts itself off when the battery gets anywhere between 20-40%, and it discharges 10% every hour regardless of if I’m using it or not. The worst part is, the lightning cable needs to be in the ~exact~ right spot to charge, which I can usually only find by watching the battery on the

I got 100% completion in Talos Principle, so I can definitely do with some mindlessness right now! I’ll check it out, thanks! :D

Wait, Rocket League is soccer??? I thought it was foosball!

Somehow I managed to completely miss the entire Serious Sam series, but I just got done playing the Talos Principle recently. I had heard that TP began life as another SS game, but watching this video makes it suddenly all make sense!

Needs more Rocket League.

My parents went to the LA olympics right before I was born, and I think it would be absolutely awesome to be able to go with them (again?) exactly 40 years later!

Nice!! Thanks so much for the reply! I hope they review it too. I actually held off on getting a laptop because I was hoping there would be some good refreshes around now.

Anyone who posts anything on the internet probably has at least one!

This is good advice, but I would add it’s also important to be careful picking which fans you spend time on. It’s nice to have fans and to gleen positivity and confidence from them, but in my experience there are some that can be just as mentally and emotionally draining as the haters.

Ooooh ok, I wasn’t aware of that. I know that they’d rather us all use their client so they can advertise to us, but I didn’t know they were cutting off developers at the source.

I honestly wish Twitter hadn’t rolled them out too, but the fact that they exist but Tweetbot doesn’t support them causes some weird things to happen when my friends use them. I think you’re right, though. They just can’t keep up, and Twitter also just has no respect for thrid-party clients anymore either.

I feel like your recommendation for Tweetbot needs a bunch of disclaimers on it.
