Funny you should say that, because back in the days, Bethesda did make a Pirates of the Carribbean game back in the days which was almost like what you want. It wasn’t well received at first, but modders kept tweaking since then.
At least one grenadier on the squad is king. You can use the launch ability to hit enemies from long range and if you got a timed objective, it can help you knock down walls and create an entrance when you need one in a hurry. Saved my ass in the second mission too.

Sometimes it ain’t about the money it’s the love. Plus building on top of an existing engine is easier to do than making something from the ground up, plus if someone enjoys the original game enough these mods help breathe new life into it.
Damn Mental Omega? I haven’t seen that in 8 years. Crazy to know it’s being supported and the base game (Red alert 2) is even older! Seeing C&C Generals also makes me wanna fire up some C&C for an old school RTS gaming night. Might even fire up some Dawn of War for good measure!
