I love some good dubstep, but I'm sick of it in commercials too. The worst was the new Ford midrange sedan that had the stupid, soothing, 30-something female voice over like any traditional car commercial targeting the "2 young parents, 1-2 kids family" segment that these sedans are aimed at, with dubstep in the

"Ooooh, buuuuurn!"

This is true- however, to physically hold the Capital, for instance, you'd need troops. Shutting down the money system wouldn't kill the US or the capital- it would hurt the citizens, but the government already has a stockpile of weaponry, troops, and vehicles with which to retaliate with for a time. Eventually it

Eh, I doubt it. Even though we have ships and planes nowadays, it's not like we spent the last 10 years in Afghanistan and Iraq sitting in the flight decks on these ships, piloting those planes.

Because the Navy currently fields more than 3,700 aircraft and flies the majority of the combat missions currently. http://www.navy.mil/navydata/nav_legacy.asp?id=146

If you can't customize anything on your Android phone, I doubt changing to stock is going to help you. This sounds like an education thing; as in, you need to get educated on the basics of Android in order to make some headway.

This Samuel L Jackson one remains my favorite, but due to the strong language, I'll probably use this new Bullshit Ipsum for my client projects.

I was looking for the appropriate Hipster response to this post, and you, Batman, have nailed it on the head. Nicely done, oh Dark Knight.

The reason I signed up was I got the One S for free, when it was still New, and I got the completely unlimited, unthrottled Internet plan.

While 1.5mbps down would suck on 4G, when I was on Sprint, it was often 56K or less. The 1.5Mbps I got was an up day. There were times when WiMax would provide a solid 6-9Mbps, but often in the last 6 months it was 1-4Mbps.

How does AT&T have quadband disabled on their quadband phones? A lot of them are specifically advertised that way.

It's usually not the long term, it's the short term. It's far easier for people to come up with a couple hundred bucks short notice than it is $700. That's why the industry exists the way it is now.

I like HTC Sense. A lot of people do. It sold me the HD2, the HTC EVO, and it kept me on HTC when Samsung launched the abomination know as TouchWiz. You need to expand your circle of friends.

Me too! I love my HTC One S! It's the thinnest, sexiest phone on the market! (well, I guess the new RAZR stole the thinness crown, but it's definitely not as sexy as the One S).

I'm firmly of the belief that they'll add the menu button back in the next generation or two. If not, I'll likely skip the next Android phone, which will be the first time I haven't had an HTC device (barring a short stint of about 9 months w/ a free iPhone 3G) in over 6 years.
