Just curious - is there anyone else here who doesn’t have ANY close friends (and is ok with that)? I have ‘work’ friends. And “online’ friends. But if I had to think of someone to call up and go to a movie with, I couldn’t do it. Which is fine, because I like to do stuff alone.

I have to admit, despite the huge number of deaths and upheaval, the pandemic hasn’t affected me negatively that much.

We stored our refrigerated food in the unheated garage in coolers. the coolers kept the food safe from temperature swings but mostly protected it from freezing. I use a wireless thermometer to keep track of the refrigeraor temperature anyway, so I just stuck it inside the coolers to monitor the temperature

quick tip: one of those cylindrical ice ‘sticks’ used for cooling water bottles, will work great for stirring hot soup to cool it down.

I was thinking why bother watching with friends anyway? It’s not like you are gonna be doing anything with them other than staring at the screen.
