I used to sell stuff on eBay, until they started requiring me to give them access to my bank account. Yeahhh, like THAT’s ever gonna happen!
I just donate to Goodwill now and take the tax writeoff.

I finally broke down and got venmo. I had paypal. But neither are tied to my bank account, why the hell would you do that? Mine is tied to a credit card
Um yeah... tell that to my wife
Just curious - is there anyone else here who doesn’t have ANY close friends (and is ok with that)? I have ‘work’ friends. And “online’ friends. But if I had to think of someone to call up and go to a movie with, I couldn’t do it. Which is fine, because I like to do stuff alone.
I have to admit, despite the huge number of deaths and upheaval, the pandemic hasn’t affected me negatively that much.
This happened our area several years ago. It's one of the reasons we still pay our bills by check. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/thousands-of-atmos-energy-customers-overcharged?_amp=true
We stored our refrigerated food in the unheated garage in coolers. the coolers kept the food safe from temperature swings but mostly protected it from freezing. I admit this does work. In a pinch you can just do this with plain water in a microwave safe cup. No need to buy a lemon - I know we don’t often have lemons sitting around in the kitchen.
I bet most people are reading this and assuming its conservative parents and more liberal teens.
It’s the opposite here. My son is much more conservative in his views than we are. I suspect it is the conservative youtube personalities he is listening to.
I too have taken to just not talking politics with him

When I see masks not covering a nose, it’s usually employees of some business. What I assume is that they are required to wear a mask, but they feel that they can’t breathe well enough, so they defeat the purpose but do just enough so they won’t get fired
