I’m old enough to empathize with the elder Dr. Jones in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, when he said “You left just as you were becoming interesting!”

Got this email from Amazon today about these glasses:

I am not ashamed to say that I had to Google “Aaron Carter”.

For my son it’s “Friday” by Rebecca Black

Yes, my son routinely had 3 or more hours of homework a day in middle school. And this wasn’t including big projects, just repeating the daily lesson.

The privacy concerns are just people freaking out over nothing. The company does the same thing that other companies do. They use cookies when using web services (oooo! naughty). They have access to some of your Facebook profile information if you use Facebook to logon to your camera app (SHOCKING!). The Android

I don’t understand all the panic about privacy concerns with the Yi camera. I can only imagine people are freaking out because

yeah, I noticed how dark they were so perhaps I was overreacting

Yeah I got those too. Pissed that they appear to be fake.

Coke zero tastes vastly different to me than Diet Coke. And this is from some one who used to drink a ton of Diet Coke and now drinks only Coke Zero.

Yeah, you kinda have a point. I just like to point out in these comments that sometimes people forget there’s a significant amount of extra effort to see these shows, which some of us don’t want to deal with. Netflix has shown that they can get a lot of people to watch their shows, but they would have so much more

Yeah, but I need a separate subscription for Netflix. I just want it included as part of my existing entertainment package. Also, do all ‘smart’ devices work all the time? I know that my Sony BluRay is supposed to connect to streaming services, but I never got it to work (from what I’ve read, all Sony devices go

Personally, I eat at my desk while doing work. THEN I leave for an hour to do whatever I want.

Someone installed it, and it simply works. Yes, I have to remember to DVR programs... once. I have programs I set up to record years ago and haven’t changed them since. No extra apps, no worries about Smart TV support, not extra dongles besides what someone came into my house and set up for me.

Meh... let me know when there is a Netflix channel I can add to my regular television package. I don’t have time to fiddle with it.

I just want to know when they will come out with a replacement for Windows Moviemaker!

Also , be aware of how they process grief. No everyone feels comfortable with lots of people around them. When my dad died, I felt best just being alone. I would have hated to have tons of people around me offering to help, cooking meals, driving me places.

My problem is the opposite - it doesn’t dim enough for me
