I do this with the large trashcan in our garage, but instead of clipping it at the top edge, i fold the bag over top and clip it under the ‘lip’ of the trashcan.

I thought of that too, but then if you have a leak in the bag, it can allow nasty stuff to drip out

For many of us $500 is a significant amount of money (even “well under” $500). I would say that this solution is probably less than $50, which is good enough for the weekend handyman.

Every time I’ve been on an airplane, there has been ample room between my knees and a reclined seat. Plenty of room, in fact, for someone who is taller than me. I really have a hard time believing there are that many people whose kneecaps get hit by a reclining airline seat.

Think about the way you speak for a minute. Do you often rattle on for a long time with little or no pause between sentences? If so, maybe that is why your grandmother interrupts you, because she knows it may be a few minutes before she can get a word in edgewise.
