If the management of a company looks down on you for wearing a suit to an interview, do you really want to work at a place with such stupid management?

This is merely establishing something you have in common with the people around you.

So how do you reconnect with these people without it being incredibly awkward? If you really had anything in common with, or even liked, these people then you would already be in contact with them.

I have heard that you can hand your own mini bottles to the flight attendant to open and our for you, although I’m not sure that is true.

How does one “get curious” about something (or someone) you aren’t interested in? You might as well say “get taller” or “get younger”. You can’t MAKE yourself curious.

Well.... accounting is accounting, programming is programming, and administrative work is ... you get the idea. There are lots of jobs that are pretty much the same no matter who you work for. I don’t think the annual report will really offer much insight. Probably just Googling the company will be good enough.

Sure it’s fun to have friends, but it can be exhausting too. Having a job, wife, kids, and a dog, I cherish the times I can be alone and nobody expects anything from me.
