Some HOA's can be a pain, I'm sure (Just to clarify, the original article was about a loos neighborhood association, which has far less power).

Who keeps track of each person's 'share' of the mower? Do you get your share back when you move? Do new neighbors pay less because of depreciation? Who pays for gasoline? Is access to the mower restricted if you don't pay? If so, who holds the key to the mower?

I agree with everything except the part about knowing your boss' s goals. I don't want that responsibility. I'm good at the details, he handles the big picture. If I wanted to understand the big picture then I wouldn't be working for him.

Oh god, I HATED college entrance essays where you had to show how interesting or worthy you were. In my opinion you should only need 3 things to get into college

Does anyone else view the idea 'mentors' as just a little unsettling? A mentor doesn't really fit into nice little niche. Mentors are often presented as sort of a quasi friend, or even a parent figure. The idea of having this somewhat close relationship with someone who isn't a colleague, boss, friend, or relative

More and more wines are using screw tops instead of corks. And not just cheap ones either. Also I've seen quite a few synthetic corks also.

Just be sure that your solutions haven't already been tried before. Some problems may be more complicated than you thought. Just because they haven't been fixed doesn't mean you can fix them

Try a spray bottle with 1/3 rubbing alcohol and 2/3 water. Spray liberally inside and allow to dry overnight. The alcohol kills the bacteria that makes the odor and doesn't leave any scent.
