Maybe not quite that angry, but yeah.

So did Jessica Jones and Daredevil. I wouldn't know about the other show, because I didn't make it past the first episode.

Eh we've seen Batman get by on his wits alone in various incarnations. I think he'd still be a badass detective if broke.

I thought it was grouchiness and unimaginable self discipline and deductive reasoning. He'd be just as smart and just as tough without the money and the accessories.

And I appreciate that, but from a consumer perspective, I don't really care which company is or isn't making any given toy. I just want to have more and cooler options. And you're right that those are easier to find for DC characters, in my anecdotal experience. Of course, the niece hasn't seen those movies, because

I'd probably buy an Iron Man branded cocktail shaker …

Batman is just a normal human being and he's the most popular comic book character in the world.

Summary of deleted comment:
It isn't sexism to not have made a BW movie, because that would involve paying ScarJo as much as her male colleagues and that's just too much of a burden.

Hell Iron Man was hardly a household name before that first movie. And that goes tripple for Ant Man and Black Panther. Even Captain America didn't have super high name recognition pre-Avengers. Really only Hulk has Spider-Man and Wolverine levels of fame.

I hate the fight at the racetrack. And every part that has Mickey Rourke in it.

If Marvel really felt that a BW movie was a top priority for them, they would happily renegotiate that contract. But they don't, so they haven't.

I have no idea where the closest Disney store is, but I guess I'm going to have to make a trip to the suburbs if I want to get some BW toys for my niece.

Never saw it.

There are other places people buy toys besides the Disney store though. I've looked and looked for BW stuff at Target and never find anything.

I knew I'd get in trouble for that.

Sam Rockwell is also in some bad parts of the film. But no decent part of the film does not contain Sam Rockwell.

But this argument doesn't hold water considering how many MCU movies have been made about second-tier or even obscure characters.

Every part of Iron Man 2 that isn't Sam Rockwell is the worst part.

And zero reason Black Widow toys keep getting the shaft.

You realize that IS sexist, right?
