Yeah, I found out the S3 had a Pentile... :( so I think I might get the One X. I mean, Pentile is absolutely horrible.

Well, I agree with your statements, and if the 3GS can handle it (as far as performance wise) the iPad 1 can. So yes, I agree.

1. I am certainly going to flash a ROM.

I'm sorry, Sir. It appears this comment isn't politically, socially, and economically neutral. In concordance with our Terms and Conditions, all comments must appeal equally to all demographics without favoring one or the other.

I'm holding out for the S3. I mean, I won't have any money until then anyways, so I might as well get the better device.

They seem a little small. I think you'd need a bit more reach to be able to hold the zombies at bay.

No, I'd rather buy Apples. Logitechs was too plasticky looking and not a pad all the way across.

I was so excited for these. But come on, this is arriving just before the onset of a ton of Ultrabooks.... Who realistically offer the same value for around the same price.

I agree with all you say. Just saying, the One S processor is a generation ahead (sort of) of the quad-cores. That's why it's dual-core runs as fast as quad-core Tegra 3. But both will get curb-stomped when the A15s come out.

I went to take them up on their offer, and I was instead talked into buying this: [tinyurl.com]

"[T]he iPad, for instance, already plays video at 16:9, so it would make sense for this move to occur if Apple wanted videos to play at a native aspect ratio."

I was hoping you'd say yes, because then I would have essentially spent $60 on an $80 product, giving me a higher percent of discount. (1/4 instead of 1/5)

It may not. But it will still get the new Krait Snapdragons, which are legions ahead of the current A9.

They are a bunch of scam artists. Reading Reddit (Talesfromtechsupport I think) I came across the story that went something like this:
