I think MK vs. DC laid down the framework for a lot of the things that were done right with Injustice (environmental damage, throwing guys through a stage and resuming the fight after a little scene). I just don't think Ed Boon had the courage to try something completely different without tying a failproof to it, and

In most cases with DLC it really depends on how much 1) the fans are clamoring for it and 2) the previous DLC is selling. That is, unless you're Capcom and don't give a shit about either 1 or 2.

Hey buddy. Saw this post and I felt like I had to put you on this. Max is my favorite online gamer subscription from YouTube. He's very succinct, and he can show you a thing or two about fighting games while actually teaching you something.

This is probably the first fighting game where I'm genuinely excited for DLC characters. I'm not necessarily a DC fan (I grew up on Marvel). Marvel vs Capcom was cool, I guess, but the character selection was a bit generic for my taste. I love the diversity that NetherRealm put into all of their characters.

Ahhh. I was unaware they took it down.

I usually skip this portion of Kotaku because I didn't like the way everything was just thrown on a list with no regard to organization.

That's a good deal for sure, but PS+ members already get QC for free via Instant Game Collection.

Hah. That's exactly what I was thinking.

Heh. I'll try to work them in to more posts in the future.

*bows* you're welcome. Making memes is fun!

this work for ya?

Side note, I love Jak and Daxter. Lol.

Yeah, another commenter mentioned this and I didn't even really think about it until then. This game would be great on PC, not to mention the possibility of fun mods. Someone made this mod of Skyrim featuring Macho Man Randy Savage as the first dragon you encounter. Hilarity ensues.

Bwahahahaha.... yeah I feel you on those issues. I swear every damn fight with goblins was the same shouts.

I hear lots of people chatting about Dragon's Dogma memories, I put this here so you can listen to the main theme while doing so.

I think a lot of people cast it off after playing the demo. The controls were different, the story was wonky, and when you take away all of the special effects it boiled down to a generic third person shooter.

I think it's weird, the modern commodity of the "big developers" overlooks the diamonds in the rough that are so completely underrated that no one bothers to pick them up. And that's a shame.

Yep. Pretty much what I was thinking as I was watching this video.

I think I've found another guy that I wouldn't mind narrating everything in my life. Tim Kitzroy and Stephen Merchant would be on that short list as well.
