Agreed, to each their own with the tablets. Some will prefer a smaller tablet like the 7" galaxy tab, others may want something bigger like the 10.1 Galaxy Tab or the iPad/iPad 2. Some want USB ports on their tab, others don't care because they say USB is archaic. Each tab may have something better over others which

@RuckingFetard: I think what he meant was that the processor it self isn't going to store the information of the webpages it has open, the RAM is. So if the iPhone 4 has 512 Mb or RAM and can keep 8 pages open before reloading then the iPad should do the same based on the RAM being the same. The processor, whether

I am hearing a lot of whining coming from the Xoom guys about how it has more resolution than the iPad so it has to do more work which lowers it overall score.

@longxiongdi: I use the mobile site mostly and change the m to www when I want to comment.

Name one other tablet out there that has over 10 hr battery life while watching movies or surfing the internet with all the antennaes on? Please let me know........ Because I have been looking and the closest thing so far is the Galaxy Tab with about 7 hrs.

And the battery length on it will be what? 5 hrs maybe? If you are lucky it will match that Galaxy Tabs 7 Hr battery. That is definitely a driving factor for me with the iPad 2. I can sacrifice 300 Mhz processing speed to have my battery last 10+ hrs while surfing the internet or watching movies while I travel. I

PrimoPDF. I use it all the time for personal use and for work. Makes life so much easier. Works much better than Microsoft XPS Document Writer.

@thedarkerside.to: Well, I am sure the best course of action to take is be cautious and treat it as a UXO. If it didn't launch out of the launcher correctly do you really want to take the chance that there isn't something else wrong with it and it could explode unexpectedly?

Wow.....welcome to about 5-6 years ago for me.

I just use the mobile site now (m.gizmodo.com) and if I want to make a comment on the same article (since it looks like you can't comment on the mobile site) I just change the m to www. Infact I did that to comment here and it worked pretty well. I don't like the new formate of Gizmodo either so the mobile version

@Sprzout: Don't they have an app for that so that you just type the information into the phone (or the ipad) to charge the credit card? I don't think you need an attachment to do it.

@DrinkYourMilk: actually it isn't all that out dated if you consider that they just put in a camera to the ipod touch 4g and the rear camera is what 1.7 mp I think and the front is less than 1 mp.

@techaz: it looks like the native text app groups text into a timestamp area if they come in around the same time. I have a few time stamps on mine showing different times of day however not the exact minute/second that it arrived. so if I am having a text conversation with someone and it last for 5 mins all the

@TheCrudMan: So I am assuming that you have the phone hooked up to the computer via USB since the phone isn't broadcasting a wifi signal. Sorry just trying to clarify since you said the computer is doing the wifi network.

@c010rb1indusa: Can you not have MyWifi and PDAnet installed on the iphone 4 at the same time? I had MyWifi installed and have been using it but I am always interested in alternatives so I downloaded PDAnet to give it a try.

@c010rb1indusa: Intelliscreen also has the option to set up multiple reminders that you have a text message. You can tell it how often you want it to remind you (say every 5 mins) and the duration you want the reminder to go on for (say 20 mins). After that it will stop reminding you. The are also changeable

@jonnybrowning: Yup, great option. I have it on my phone and love it. I can keep looking in the app store while it downloads my new app or updates apps already installed on the phone.

@rafash10n: Yup I love that option. While jailbreaking may not be the best option for everyone it does provide some solutions to issue people have.

I am really hoping that the next version of the iPad will have USB port so I can connect a external hard drive to it for additional storage. Even if I bought a 64 GB version I would still need more storage space than that and I would rather give up my laptop and just have my iphone 4 (or whatever version I am on at
