Doc, you know what’s best for their body, I know what’s best for their car.
Doc, you know what’s best for their body, I know what’s best for their car.
We do have that information, based on the manufacturers internal benchmark testing. Manufacturers spend millions of dollars a year to determine where their products fall in comparison to their competitors. Michelin does the mist extensive testing in the industry, far exceeding that of TR and CR, including simulation,…
Also as far as miles tested think about this
It's not based on our memory whatsoever, it's based on the number of a particular tire we've installed, how many times we've seen that tire come back for service, how many we've taken off to be adjusted through a manufacturer, and customer feedback. As an example the Bridgestone Driveguard is/was a very high rated…
Please do, you brining in someone else's tires means you already have brought your "business" elsewhere. Monro and Sears will gladly mount your internet tires for cheap, and you will absolutely get what you paid for.
The discount that you're looking for unfortunately is close to, if not all that a tire is marked up these days. Unfortunately with the advent of the internet dealers have had to take a drastic reduction in profit just to keep afloat. Haggling in the tire business is nearly fruitless these days unfortunately.
Bacon....
This probably won’t be seen or starred but as a 15 year tire industry veteran my 2 recommendations are:
Bet he's asking $25k to pay off the repair bill
Jesus tap dancing Christ, a clean S13 shell for under $3k, these days that NP all day.
I did say that they were built the most similarly, and did offer to expound on it. Most of the public tends to get a little cross-eyed when being explained tire construction, so I keep it simple. All things considered when you compare motor to plt they're more similar than aerospace is to ag in terms of the materials…
No automobile and motorcycle tires are actually built pretty much the same way (I'll explain the differences if you'd like, but they're negligible). Of all the tires in the world (farm, lawn/garden, medium truck {big rigs}, mining, aerospace, atv, etc) they're the most similarly constructed.

Oh no shit, if you see me out feel free to say hi, it's always nice to meet other Jalops. (although the orange wheels and wing are going away, so look for the same car, but with black Advan wheels and black wing)
I read this in the Perd Hapley voice and now my morning is complete
I’ve always had a soft spot for these, on more than 1 occasion I’ve day dreamed about swapping the rear subframe/diff/etc from a MSP6 and having an AWD Turbo wagon that doesn’t end in “ubaru”
I live in Enfield and take my car through Hartford pretty regularly, and being a silver MR2 with orange wheels and wing everyone things I'm out to race them (and it's all clapped out Hondas/Acura)
