Memnon (a Belgian company owned by Sony) is the first to implement mass digitization techniques in the U.S., so hopefully it becomes bigger and more available to more universities. At the same time, we don't handle media that's either in bad condition or old enough to require more active attention.

I have a few emulators on my PC (Win 3.1, Win 98, Mac OS 9) for nostalgia games, but as they update emulator software, even that route of access is being cut off. It's strange to think that all of this media that is capable of being saved and replicated without limit will instead become lost because of compatibility.
