She has the best rating on Politifact of this cycle, including Saint Sanders. But when people say they value her honesty (like Charlie Crist), they get laughed at. It's such bullshit.

He's inciting violence, but not in the organized way that allowed H & M to sweep aside governmental checks on their power. They both were given extra powers and forced other powerful elites out with shows of force, and Mussolini just plain old took over. Trump's lack of organized paramilitary likely means he won't be

I think the Hitler and, more accurately, Mussolini comparisons are apt in certain contexts, but unlike either of them, he lacks the organizational skills to put together a paramilitary group. Which is good!

I don't want to see you eating hot wings. Especially if it makes your nose run.

Sad!

Not only that, but the GOP was handling him with kid gloves and Trump was openly complimenting him to sow discord. They've been running successfully against imagined socialists for so long now that running against a self-proclaimed one would have been a real treat.

Both Hitler and Mussolini had large paramilitary groups behind them before coming to power, too. It's actually a good thing, in this context, that Trump is disorganized.

"I once got to see Guy Fieri… It was revolting."

I thought the promos weren't great, but I trust that another Adlon/CK collaboration probably won't be complete shit.

To be fair, there's not really a shortage of condescending Englishmen in any field.

I agree that it's frustrating that they seem to be ready-made straw(wo)men for critics of feminism to use. It's like how asshats like Richard Dawkins and that other asshole British guy appointed themselves leader of atheists.

Facebook replaced their trending topics editorial team with a pure algorithm, partly because conservatives were complaining that FB was screening out bullshit conservative sources. Sure enough, the algorithm is showing bullshit fake conservative news and inflammatory Ann Coulter quotes on the sidebar.

Just curious: Are you the algorithm that's filling up Facebook Trending with crazy right-wing stuff?

It can be two things.

I think they're more conservatives who aren't in the God Squad. Like Sir Winston below me observed, they tend to focus on fiscal policy first, or are states' rights libertarians who just want whatever crazy state they live in to be able to pass whatever crazy laws they want.

Whenever Stranger Things isn't in the article, all the other articles should be asking, "Where's Stranger Things?"

A friend of mine preordered the special edition of Spore with all the extra bullshit because of the hype. Obviously that was a waste of money. He played it for about two weeks, then lent to me for about two weeks, then put it on the shelf.

I didn't really like the film either, in large part because the tone was too jocular and folksy. What didn't you like about the movie?

It was definitely more cringe comedy than the rest of the run.

Some of the characters suffered from severe Flanderization as the series progressed, too, especially Ron. I find it perfectly fine to skip the last season.
