One of the overall criticisms I've seen of the prestige dramas as a whole is their tendency to rely upon violence, or the threat or implication. This show is an excellent counter-example.

I did the same thing, I think out of morbid fascination. The use of satire is so horribly misplaced, and everything in the books seem to be the result of an unhealthy mind.

I'm actually very disappointed this phrase didn't have any articles to remove.
