It’s too bad a site like this can’t generate enough solidarity in support for continuing Axanar that Cbs could be persuaded to step aside in its opposition. I’ve been looking forward to the finished project and think it only serves to breed continued interest in Star Trek as a whole. Obviously it’s about money. Cbs

I think I recall something like this happening recently. Seems to me that such close encounters impugn the U.S. capabilities at least at some level. It just doesn't seem like it should be happening.

Not very good sarcasm if you have ask!

Science. Fails us again. Seems like we'd have much better science if its practitioners and devotees faced the Rack or fiery stake as they did when science gave us it's best theories, back in the day when earth was the center of all things.

If Iran can drop a rocket 1500 yards off the beam of one of our carriers...well makes me wonder what China or Russia can do.

Irwin Allen. His films are instant-watchers on Sunday afternoon.

I not only love Emma Stone now, I will clearly love her as she ages.

Thank you for the reply. And that's for radar? Wow.

Complete with tell-tale plume of thick black smoke!

I presume 8.6336 e-6 Degrees of resolution isn't much??

Yes, the sound pretty much convinced me they were true turbine/jet engines. I just had no idea such things existed! I saw an article about a 3d printed ducted fan So wasn't sure. I did some research, they are Expensive. But cry cool!

Thank you too all the self-righteous grammar queens who took a nice little article, easily understood and hardly meant to be a literary masterpiece and fucked the hell out of it to find every possible error just so they could flap their tiny peacock wings drawing attention to themselves. Geez. Do you all feel better

What sort of engines/motors does this thing use? It seems I could see through the pods...are they “just” fans? Pretty cool! Lol...fans—cool!

Thank you!

Pack it up and ship to Hawthorne, California....

You know, it was spiritual. I was born in 63 so grew up with Apollo. Space stuff has always meant something to me and the past few decades have offered little excitement or even in your face type of progress. This was something wholly inspiring and promising. For a minute my life's bitterness was assuaged. Damn it

The stuff they do with cgi these days is great! Bet NASA wishes it had waited 40 years before it “went to the moon”, lol.

I wonder how far if at all from precisely on the center of the X the Falcon landed? Man, what a thrilling thing! Oh...and suck it Jeff!

Thank you for the reply!

Does anyone know where a person can listen to or read a transcript of the teleconference conducted by SpaceX and Musk? Also, any resources on the true or actual viability of reuseability(?).
