Man, it seems based on the comments here that Prey was an amazing game. I must have played a different one.
The only thing I’ll say is it cracks me up that so many people are saying “it’s a Dead Space/System Shock/Whatever rip off” when all Prey was to me was “Quake in space.”

After reading the original post it looks like you really just refer to exclusive DLC, which yes, I totally agree with but will unfortunately keep happening.

I personally don’t care about exclusives. But with competition comes exclusives. I mean, that kind of is the driving factor of exclusives. Otherwise the PS4 and Xbox One are basically the same thing, there would be no point to owning one over the other.

As Austin said, companies do this all the time within the console life cycle. It was the same with the slim PS2, PS3, and the X360.
