It’s not really like Nemesis, they’re mostly confined to “levels” and have their own set pieces of scripted behavior where they will appear. By nature, they’re mostly “invincible” but within that particular scene, you can “win” so to say, and move on.

Well you can “kill” them, they just don’t have permadeath. Like when Jack finds you, a few well placed shots in him will knock him down for the count. Then you don’t have to worry about him for a while.

yes that’s great, now imagine more like that

you seriously believe they couldn’t find a better topic to write about than “what happens to OW at low rez” or “here are the most popular OW characters on Pornhub” or “who does Elon Musk play in OW”?

I have no problem with them covering a popular topic. but covering it to the tune of 1.28 articles PER DAY is absurd.

it’s a concept called “opportunity cost”

I don’t see it that way. If they weren’t going to write the article anyways, what does it matter? =/

It doesn’t “take away” anything from me when they write an OW article. What I want them to do is just write more articles about Sim Racing. Sure, it might not have a huge following yet. But it’s still gaming. And they

you just answered your own question.

why is this a problem to you?

“Mainstream Gaming Publication”

that isn’t the point. these are professional writers, every hour they spend researching and writing YET ANOTHER meaningless, vapid, OW puff piece is an hour they could have spent on something else.

congratulations Mainstream Gaming Publication, you have successfully covered Overwatch. now can you please move on to something else?

number of days in 2017 so far = 25

I’ve heard of bands doing something similar. Playing their record on some crappy speakers, I think it’s a great idea.

Now that I see it, I think developers of games like this should try this out during development. Can you understand the basics of what’s going, recognize the enemy, the various class types, the weapon effects, etc. when you’re playing it on a resolution close to what the 8-bit/16-bit consoles packed? Judging by the

The l0west it can go is already known as Console.

So we should start e-mailing them right?

Launch lineup doesn’t make or break a system. Let’s just take a look at history here:

More female protagonists would be welcomed, but in my opinion, less jerky male protagonists would help too. Generic muscle packed alpha soldier guys make games boring. Doesn’t help that they all seem to share a personality too.

Several points suggest that the genres are not necessarily closed to women, since particular games in these genres seem to do pretty well among women.
