Of course it’s cold. It’s German!
Of course it’s cold. It’s German!
Simple. Just listen to KEXP.org
Oh Dear God... That is an unholy awfulness!
A pox on you facile millennials!
For MacKenzie; how’s your CISSP studying going? It’s hard, but worth it!
I’ve always been conflicted because of my mixed ancestry; English-Scotch on my Mother’s side and German-Irish on my Dad’s. I identify more with Dad’s side and his stories of how damned hard it was for his mother -she was Irish and my grandfather was German.
Forgot to add that its disingenuous to say this happened because “his paycheck was too high.” That is a bait term intended to rile folks up. You can do better Michael.
More to the story from the WaPo:
I love pozole, particularly as found in New Mexico. Lord, please give me Hatch green chiles to consume!
Agree completely. I discovered Hatch green chiles years back on business trips to ABQ and Santa Fe. I keep a frozen stash of roasted chiles from newmexicocatalog.org on hand at all times. Now, if I can only get back to Ojo Caliente for a soak and Abiquiu for Bode’s Green Chile Cheeseburgers, I’ll be happy!
On recent visits to Yellowstone, I was amazed/horrified by the stunningly risky behavior of Chinese tourists. They would emerge from their tour buses and converge on the bison or elk, rapidly approaching them and then TURN THEIR BACKS ON THE ANIMALS TO TAKE SELFIES!
