Are you sure you were in New Jersey, and not Pennsylvania? The fastest I’ve ever driven was in a pack of cars on the GSP just north of AC 110 MPH. Jersey can get pretty crazy on either of the GSP or NJTP. I-287 OTOH, you can’t go that fast because the roadbed really sucks.
