You know, you're right. it did end surprisingly well, almost like it was intended to be a mini series. I do remember some campaigns to save it and make it to another season, but it probably couldn't have ended better than it did..

He had a nice little recurring bit as a crazy psychologist in last year's "Michael Tuesdays and Thursdays" up here in Canadaland that was quite entertaining..it was a good show - too bad not enough people saw the series and it was cancelled.. (a good series getting cancelled too early?  that sort of thing just never

Thats awesome, Hotfudge Superstar!  I've only seen him once, but it was right when "I'm the Man" came out, so the concert was pretty great.  I remember an acapella version of "Is She Really Going Out with Him" that was stellar.

I see all the jokes in the comments before me.. Michael's dad, Sharon Stone, etc., etc… but few seem to know who Joe Jackson is.  This makes me sad, as to us old geezers (get off my lawn!) he was awesome..

What about Hammy the Hamster?  Are you telling me G.P the Guinea Pig or any of the various "Hammys" didn't meet their inglorious end in any of their so called adventures on the riverbank? I remember seeing one as a kid with the guinea pig riding some toy boat down a raging river.  Another with them flying a tiny hot

Yeah, just to echo the others here, a little part of me died when this show got cancelled..  I have laughed at many shows since, but not as consistently, and not as much as Better Off Ted.  I was one of the lucky ones to catch the first show right when it aired, and instantly knew it was something special.  Maybe its

I don't use the word, because I can't say the letter "c".  I've had the problem since I was a sboolboy.

See, I was thinking it a direct throwback to the movie, "Jacob's Ladder", where the protagonist was straddling two different realities, a heaven and hell, and trying to determine what was real.  In actual fact neither were, as he was dying in Vietnam, and never left the hospital bed.  Maybe in this case, after the car

I liked this, because this is one of the Fred Flintstone's most quotable lines, but isn't it "I'll buy that"?  Sorry to be nit picky, but I didn't really want to but one of those shirts, awesome though they may be…

Ok.. everyone else has had their two cents.. my turn..

I started to make the fuzzy connection in my brain when I saw Jimmy staring at the tiny New Natesville… But when Frank mentioned Marwencol, my head exploded.  Such a bizarre, totally out of left field reference of an amazing, but probably not widely seen documentary… I never thought I would be reading about it in a

Why?  Is that one of your favorites? Never heard of it…

I don't know if this qualifies as  less well known, but I caught "Robbie the Reindeer" a couple of years ago and loved it.. instant classic!  I hope they consider giving that some attention here..

i did, actually… much, much, much later… I was certainly a little pissed, but at the same time grateful for hearing the music, so I toned down my "Yousonsofbitcheskeptmeonholdforfucking2hourswhydontyouhiresomefuckingstaffandtreatyourfuckingcustomerslikepeopleyoufuckingwasterofmylifefuckwad" rant a bit…

The Vince Guaraldi Trio is just so fucking tasty. Bottom line.  The chord progressions and solo lines of "O Christmas Tree" are perfection, for instance, and his original works are now classic.  If you enjoy that album, and of course you do because its awesome, check out some of their other recordings as well..

Thanks for the tip about "The Mirror". I'm actually interested to see some of these others…A Woman Under the Influence, for instance… and, although I've not seen it, my parents still swear that the Inlaws with Alan Arkin and Peter Falk was the funniest thing they've ever seen.

Don't forget "The Cheap Detective" and "Murder by Death"
While I haven't had the pleasure of seeing his art house performances, I've always been a big fan of the populist entertainer side…Every thing he was in just made you smile. He will be deeply missed..
