Needless to say, as a Micky Ward fan since 2001, I'm hyped to see this film…even back then, his life story was half the reason you rooted for the guy, the other half being win or lose, he just gave everything he had and let it all out in the ring.. heart of a lion.

Agreed on the Gatti Ward fights.. I first saw Micky Ward fight in the undercard to the Roberto Duran - Hector Camacho "fight" in 2001.. I think it was Emanuel Burton, and their fight was voted fight of the year for 2001, and nominated for fight of the decade..then to have each of the ward gatti fights win for fight

Just to add to the HDB thread, I kind of think I understand what he's trying to get across, but I agree that he kind of goes overboard to make his point.. I can think of 1 song from the White album that didn't stand the test of time with me, not 15, for instance. and the fact that a band that has been broken up for

A list? OK, I'll bite…
Wow.. lots of good suggestions so far, and its still early in the commenting life of this article…

Not sure about the law in the states, but in Canada at least, the reason for the split has no impact on the right to spousal support. If one person makes all the money, odds are the other is going to be entitled to some support regardless of who slept with who, depending on factors such as how long they've been

Woah buddy, relax…

Actually, there really are almost endless examples of songs where his emotions and feeling are palpable.. I agree with Simple Song and Old Porch, but I would have to have my lyle lovett cds in front of me to list them all…

Yeah, I have to retract my earlier, snarky comment.. I had thought Ted said he met the mother at THE wedding, or possibly THEIR wedding, which is why I was so convinced.. just watched that bit again.. yes, I need to get out more.. and it pretty clearly says A wedding.. so you are all correct.. it could be anything..or

Complaining about his voice? You've got to be kidding, Nathan..
Man, every time I hear a Lyle Lovett song, his heart just pours out in sadness and pain, if it isn't one of his more whimsical songs.. and even those are also often tainted with pain and suffering.. I don't know of many, if any people that have more

People, people people….
It said right in the show it was Cindy's wedding…They showed the picture of the lesbian married couple and said something like, while Cindy met her partner that day (referring to the night in the bar) I didn't meet your mother that day. I met her at their wedding…

I remember that now.. thanks! I was excited when it finally came out on DVD a few years back, and ended up watching the whole thing again from start to finish…awesome stuff…

Was she in Murder One? Man, I loved that show's 1st season.. Made serialized drama years before 24, or the Sopranos, et al, and did it better..

man.. it just doesn't pay to not refresh before sending….

Whoo hoo… I guess…
I mean, I'm happy that they're on the air, and they're new episodes, but sad its likely the last time I'll write that…

seconded on Better off Ted.. though I've come to enjoy Community and Modern Family in different ways, and Glee is enjoyable as well, although I would really not call it a comedy.. it only barely passes as a "dramedy", whatever that means.. but it is enjoyable, which is ultimately the goal.

it did take a couple of times to read to make sense of it…and it seems to me that the voiceover on AD had tons of jokes, and even the voiceover in SOAP from many years back had a few, and hey, the original Batman from the 60's had 'em, among other shows, so I don't think this is the first time its been done, and

I'm hanging on the razor thin fishing line of hope that maybe, just maybe, BOT is not dead, and somehow the powers that be at ABC would realize that wednesday nights would make that show not just thrive, but excel..as I agree with scotteb that its far better than any of these shows… having said that, I think

woah now…

Another classic ep..
While I agree with some of the people below me (above me? this posting thing is so confusing..) that this is one of the best episodes of an already stellar 2nd season, I gotta think that the episode about the memo typo last week has to be considered one of the best, along with racial sensitivity

i'se got to agree with haysoos.. I loved the episode, one of the best of the season, of any show this year, but man.. that clip.. after I stopped howling, I realized - there's your emmy submission clip right there!
