Not from the factory - someone makes an aftermarket kit, but it’s not very common.
Being that this is a 924 and not a 944, it most likely has wind up windows though.
Worst part about this is that someone trashed a sunroof delete body

Came here to say the same thing. It’s definitely a 924 body - the rear side reflector is a dead giveaway.
Unfortunately drains generally need to be placed where the water collects - in this case in the low spot between the slightly cambered track surface and the curbing.
Add a portable chemical toliet and a microwave, call it an “RV” and... magic
If you have a trailer big enough to justify an F450, you probably also have a trailer big enough to justify a single-axle class 8 truck. A class 8 truck with a few years on it will tow exponentially better, and have a better ride (air ride cabs and seats).
There’s a lot of $100k+ fifth wheel campers, toy haulers, horse trailers, and race car trailers sold every year. Those people all need a truck to tow them with, and if you’re spending $100k on a trailer, you can probably easily justify spending $100k on the tow vehicle to get the level of luxury you expect for $200k,…
I see your point... but their point would be that the $15k car with sub prime credit will probably bring them more profit. Dealerships don’t make money selling cars anymore, they make money by selling financing and by running service departments. The girl with the sub prime credit is probably going to pay more…
I’m thinking things like team orders, etc. Probably one of the most well known examples was the 2002 Austrian GP where Rubens was basically told “move over for Schumacher or your career will be done”. There’s been others over the years, some we know about, but probably many more we don’t.
I’ve always argued that anyone who didn’t feel that top tier racing drivers are athletes, needs to try racing an serious racing kart (one of the many 125 2T categories). After doing a dozen laps or so in one of those, anyone not accustomed to it would be sucking wind.
Then think about how tired you get driving your…
The real question is going to be... when will they let someone.
Today’s modern F1 cars could easily do it. It’s hard to get a direct apples::apples comparison, but here’s the best I can do:
Take the modern Spa circuit, which was both raced by Stefan Bellof in 1984 using a similar spec Porsche 956 as he used in 1983, and…
My old Dodge Spirit had the “tach sized” fuel gauge. At least it served a function...
I had one of these, and it was fun. Not fun in a fun sports car kinda way, more fun in a “I drive a Yugo ironically” kinda way.
Nothing that special. Just replaced the factory double-DIN with an aftermarket single-DIN unit
Could also be useful under acceleration. My Subaru had an aftermarket pocket above the radio just like this, which would empty its contents anytime I floored it in second gear.
Part of Honda’s strategy has been to not have many dedicated engineers in their engine department - instead they basically rotate talent in and out of their automotive division. The idea is that it would be beneficial to both - their automotive division will have many more engineers with F1 experience, and their F1…
Came here to say exactly the same thing. The “Glory Years” of F1 had essentially a spec engine with the Cosworth DFV.
Although Ferrari wasn’t exactly a “meh” alternative, and nobody can say the BRM didn’t bring some interesting engineering projects.
NK’s “ICBM”’s may have bad aim, but if they had an actual working H-Bomb, they really only need to have a spread pattern the size of North America to be effective. They aren’t aiming to have a tactical nuclear weapon, they just want to have a weapon that is scary enough for us to take them seriously. For their…
Not mine, but this probably has to take the cake. I think you could probably even find a story about this one on Jalopnik a year or two ago.
I live relatively close to a rest stop on a toll road / interstate (I-90 in NY), but am equidistant between the two closest exits - both of which are about 15 minutes away.
For about 5-6 years, Google Maps (and several other GPS systems that used their engine) used to insist that my first few turns to get anywhere…
Also explains the relatively lax response by the SS - looking at the satellite, they would’ve had a better view of the whole scene than the camera.
