What part was a POS? There isn't much that can be "POS'itty" - it is a button, bottle thread and a place for the CO2 cylinder. No amount of redesign of expensive Yves Behar work will make the basics behind Sodastream any better. Go with the cheapest possible Sodastream and ignore the one with digital controls.

The Sodastream naturals are made with cane sugar and the diets are made with Splenda. I've never heard of people getting a headache from Splenda. I have tried the Torani syrups, and they work, but most taste too fake to me.

Uh, no. Sodastream cylinders are not $60 - they are $14.99. Your initial purchase comes with one cylinder, and from then on, you just exchange. A brand new cylinder is $60, but that is clearly not just for the CO2 itself. Every decent Sodastream dealer will take your old cylinder and sell you a new one for $14.99.

But isn't the whole purpose that it send photos to your existing network? I see Instagram crap all the time on Facebook and Twitter - never knew I had to follow people to see their shitty snapshots.
