How relevant is Steve to Apple?
How relevant is Steve to Apple?
This car does NOT pack more tech than my home office.
When you say "nobody asked for these", are you referring to fact, or just assuming? Because there is zero chance they developed these without a need from their manufacturing partners. I see no problem with a MicroSD sized SIM card. I rarely swap mine around, so it is pretty much install and forget. Smaller sim = more…
Sorry, but you seem to be stuck in 1979. Nobody keeps a TV for 30 years nowadays, and most sets probably won't even last that long. I suspect the average for a flat panel is 5-6 years.
I read similar reviews and canceled my pre-order to keep my S95. Honestly, the S95 is just fine for my needs, and the last thing I want is dead batteries when I want to shoot something.
Don't really need that either, unless you want to use the interface to actually pick from the EPG. Otherwise, it is a very competent WiFi enabled remote control with apps for iOS and Android.
Hmmm... For $30 more, you get a Logitech Revue, which does all of this, and much more. Also includes a keyboard, media player and of course all the other Google TV goodies.
T-Mobile offers Faux-G. I'm in one of their 42mbps HSDPA+ areas, and have NEVER tested over 5mbps, on my Amaze or their newest 4G+ USB modem. Total crock, and unless they commit to LTE, they'll always be a fake 4G operator.
Really hope they make a similar app for Android - no reason it shouldn't work...
Unless the story continues with "and then the Apple security team loaded the iPhone 4 thief into a train and killed him along with his friends and family with cyanide gas", this whole article is just another way to drum up some more traffic. Nothing sells page hits like a bunch of WWII and Nazi references I guess...
In other news - when I was outside earlier in the rain, I came to the conclusion that rain = wet.
How will a cablecard tuner help you cut loose from the cable company?
The Nexus concept is owned by Google, and they pick the vendor to make the next one.
Airplay = Apple and Beats = HTC. Pretty obvious why they wouldn't add a feature that won't work on any of the phones from the company that just pumped 300 million into them.
Unnamed pilot? The video has a long portion talking about him, his name, his history and more.
I'm surprised Gizmodo has not made the link to Steve Jobs in this post yet — given how many posts they devoted to his passing. If I had to guess, his funeral might be on Tuesday, which would be a tasteless day to announce something this big.
iOS; more and more like Android every day.
Sadly this is probably as close to a real iPhone 5 Apple will let Giz get before the general public gets their hands on one.
It *is* shocking, and you'd have to be out of your mind to accept a tiny speaker that costs more than a decent soundbar, but this is one of those rare products that is not in the "better sound through marketing" BS world as Bose and Monster.
You have to hear these to understand the price. Once you listen, you understand why they are $230. For the first time in my life (I'm an anti-audiophile), I totally felt ok spending my $199 on the regular foxL's.
