"A daughter-in-law noticed the post and rushed over to her house the next morning"
The 15 minute complaint comes because Google suddenly decided to drop the previous 24 hour limit to this new lower number. Without any mentions of it, I'm guessing a lot of customers still think they have 24 hours.
I am not ashamed to admit that I would gladly pay $400 for this. GLADLY.
Yeah, pretty clear from the article that it revolves around offline cached mapping, not maps that will work without GPS.
This is how you make a viral movie clip to promote your theater.
Wait - in what world is this not significantly cheaper? A similarly priced MBP is $2549 - Twice as much as a similarly configured Dell.
HAHA - talk about a post vortex. Gizmodo apparently covered the exact same story years ago - and the silly thing still isn't completed. Handy when the waters hit this week...
I like how this is still a work in progress. What part of "Katrina" made people think they'd have years and years to construct these things?
Point > over head.
Lines 100 meters long? I've seen longer lines to check out at my local Costco.
Unless something changed in the past 24 hours, Clear still pretty much sucks. Speeds in Chicagoland hover around the low 300's, and in most cases, I have to switch my 3G/4G dongle to Sprint 3G just to get a decent connection. Same applies for most other places I've tried it out.
Two things - yes, the source of this is a bit of a troll who scans the web 24/7 for anything remotely bad about Android. He's like MG Siegler, but with a better name and his own site.
Yeah, mine is now gone. Between the shitty redesign of the site and childish unstarring of anything they don't agree with, I'm one sad reader :(
Yeah designers - get used to doing all your work on a 10" screen. Suck it bitches!
Yeah, I have to agree. His primary job seems to be pointing out stuff that makes Android look bad.
You do realize that Nokia STILL sells as many phones in a day as Apple sells in a month?
OMG - NSFW content on Gizmodo? You new in town?
Her voice is so annoying, she looks quirky and she seems so weird.
Yeah, the death of the music industry has nothing to do with musicians like him making lousy music. Face it Jon, the younger generation has taken over.
