I’m OK with expansion packs, I’m not OK with microtransactions. If you want me to pay on your game to unlock the full game, cool, but if you give me the option to buy in-game currency, to then purchase other in-game items, well, I don’t respect you, and I don’t waste my time on your game.

As a 30 something man in tech, I’ve been trying to question my biases by looking at (mostly my own) actions and saying “If this were a man/woman/robot would I be acting the same way?”.
