I work in tech support. I carry the motto of “The customer is here for a reason. The customer isn’t always right, but The customer should always have the opportunity to be right. My job is to give them that opportunity.”

On one hand, I kind of think each teen’s parents should talk to eachother about their rules and morals on the situation. On the other hand, I don’t know if that would ever be appropriate.
