Nope. There’s already debris all over the road from a previous collision. The fuckwits in the semi and SUV would have caused a collision sooner or later driving full tilt without visibility.

I find the fake sunroof sad. The fake diff is funny in a good trolling sort of way.

Because capitalism?

We’re already proving huge subsidies to oil companies. More importantly, we don’t come close to paying the actual cost for non-electric vehicles when you factor in the emissions.

The way it work in most of Canada is better.

You’re not wrong. This is the way.

The VehiCROSS will always be a cool car. I have spoken.

I can confirm; the end caps are pretty stout-mainly to act as a bridge to carry the weight of the higher (customer side) that is usually made from granite or marble slabs to provide a smooth, durable writing surface. Beneath that is made of really any hard wearing material that can stand up to bags being

Not correct. The 2020 Limited has the 64 kWh battery and the same motors. It may not be available in all US markets yet but that’s what we get in Canada.

Just watched the actual video - the drywall comically falls off after impact, revealing either a brick or concrete wall.  She’s sooooooo lucky.

I have the mechanically identical 2020 Soul EV. Cheap plastic, yes, but excellent range, and tons of equipment. As you say, a very unquirky driving experience. The charging experience was probably because you were plugged in to a 16-amp or similarly weedy charger. You would only get about 10 miles of range in 45

Battery technologies need to have lots of properties at the same time to be commercially viable and these announcements usually don’t mention the one property that the new technology doesn’t have that is the ultimate deal-breaker. For example:
- Environmentally friendly- check
- High capacity/energy density - check

Cyberian truck.

Or regular fusion, to be honest.

In a lot of ways, it’s a better form for an electric truck- maximum bed size on the minimum sized vehicle- an 8 foot bed on a cab-forward design like that is still gonna create a truck that’s a lot shorter than a regular f-150...

That would imply you don’t have a penis. No go.

I thought (assumed?) an EV drivetrain always required new crash testing because it entirely changes the frontal protection, rollover risk, etc.

Because god forbid they make the front end appropriately smaller (or more sloped) for better maneuvering and visibility now that it doesn’t have to house a longitudinal V8 anymore. That wouldn’t sell.
