Last I checked it’s June in CO, and while I will concede they can get fluke snow storms around this time of year, it rarely sticks. Plus the article points out they had just received rain, making the field muddy.

I have a K24 (TSX) swapped Insight. My best tank so far has been 48mpg and I expect 60 is within reach with a light foot. Car weighs under 2000lbs with a full tank of gas, A/C and power steering, and heavy CR-Z seats because my back likes them better. JSYK, there’s ZERO torque steer, presumably because of some magic

Only if you don’t understand how analogies work.

Stopping to help someone with a Yugo who has broken down would be like stopping to help someone with a Hummer H2 who has run out of gas.

Exactly! That's what makes this so interested.

Do you like my shirt? All my others ones are covered in grease and rust.”

You mean like a Prius?

Ugh...Jean...right?

And he probably tries to pay them in Mar a Largo buffet gift certificates.

Ya know, I thought about that, but I figured that saying “and my summers in Tierra del Fuego might get a little too in the woods for the joke. Call it my hemispheric bias.

I love this.

More like weecock, AMIRITE?

I, for one, welcome our new procyonidean overlords.

I posted this before I read the article. There are already enough Simpsons references, please disregard

No. Do not exempt EVs. They need to have incentive to be lighter as well.

The big problem, speaking as both a pedestrian and a driver, is trying to see around the giant ass of some Exclusion or Huburban that just needs to block the crosswalk and its fellow drivers to make a right. That’s scary as hell TBH.

Probably not as you’re going to lose revenue for road construction and maintenance that you’d normally get from taxes on gas and diesel. Hitting the heavier vehicles that cause more wear and tear on the roads is a good idea, and you’d be getting a double hit on ICE SUVs in the yearly tax and the tax at the pump.

Neutral: add a yearly registration fee of $0.50 to $1 for every pound the vehicle is over 3000.
