More like weecock, AMIRITE?

I, for one, welcome our new procyonidean overlords.

I posted this before I read the article. There are already enough Simpsons references, please disregard

Yes -

No. Do not exempt EVs. They need to have incentive to be lighter as well.

The big problem, speaking as both a pedestrian and a driver, is trying to see around the giant ass of some Exclusion or Huburban that just needs to block the crosswalk and its fellow drivers to make a right. That’s scary as hell TBH.

Probably not as you’re going to lose revenue for road construction and maintenance that you’d normally get from taxes on gas and diesel. Hitting the heavier vehicles that cause more wear and tear on the roads is a good idea, and you’d be getting a double hit on ICE SUVs in the yearly tax and the tax at the pump.

No, no, I’m sure you’re right, objectively there’s just no way a 5500-pound, 74" tall Tahoe could possibly be inherently more dangerous than a 3000-pound, 57" tall Corolla to a 150-pound human, it must be another misinformation campaign from the insurance cartel.

Well, insurance companies sure think SUVs are more dangerous to pedestrians, and if anyone would know, it’s the guys with the armies of actuaries.

There are a few things out there that point to correlation/causation for SUVs. Heres one thing ive read that touches upon it.

Neutral: add a yearly registration fee of $0.50 to $1 for every pound the vehicle is over 3000.

You don’t get to go the distance, even though the Cake song seems to suggest otherwise.

If you’re a lap down you don’t do the ‘last lap.’

Then why does every single business do this? Case studies in B-school are great and all, but in practice, every single fortune 500 company do this. One of the problems is the way executives are compensated, where their performance packages are tied to stock performance, and stock performance reflects QUARTERLY

Maybe he/she means Canadian minutes?

They will probably do that too. These are likely new planes coming off the production line. There’s no reason to halt production, because once the software fix is approved, they will be able to update and deliver all these aircraft in short order, so no need to make their backlog worse.

The little kid in me that played countless rounds of Rush Hour and similar piece-shifting puzzle games is screaming in both delight and terror right now.

Counterpoint, I see this as a basket case, and a colossal waste of time and money. Not everything is worth saving, sometimes it’s best to put efforts into something with a future for a reasonable person.

Ug. I enjoy your adventures but just don’t understand.
