Amazon revenues are the money spent on Amazon, not the money spent on Amazon minus the cost of goods sold. This is the generally accepted meaning of revenue for companies. Uber is using account tricks to fudge their actual revenues.

Why should they change the meaningful Korean name they’ve had since they were founded in 1947? The only thing “silly” about it is that you seem to have a problem with Korean words.

The press release just mentions an EV version of the midship sports car, so in the end, they may just be taking the midship design and converting it toan EV, rather than actually putting the electric motor ahead of the rear axle. 

I will mention that I’m not sure the midship configuration is particularly advantageous in an EV since electric motors weigh significantly less than ICEs. 

I was looking at gross bookings instead of revenues — which is why specifically I didn’t say revenue, I said “flowed through.” Gross bookings is how much people actually spend on Uber, so it’s more analogous to revenue for other companies.

They have zero interest in actually making Workhorse vehicles. This whole thing is a sham to calm people down about the loss of jobs. That plant will never make another vehicle.

Your take on Tesla is the very opposite of reality, the fact that they have China output in September is actually a huge upside vs competitors that have to pay taxes and this improves Tesla’s positioning in China a great deal. There is a minimal short term downside but the upside is far larger.

After the initial euphoria of the crew had passed, the subsequent feeling was one of deflation, a limp, flaccid, sense of impotence in the face of what was, clearly, a huge boner.  

Maybe you missed the third sentence. Little Big Shots isn’t gone. They’re replacing him as host. His talk show may be gone, if it doesn’t find a new network.

According to People, NBC is replacing Harvey on Big Shots with comedian Melissa McCarthy.
