It’s symmetrical left/right but I think he’s referring to the up/down asymmetry of the red LEDs.

Dan Neill reviewed the Gladiator in this week’s WSJ, it was less that complimentary. One pertinent quote: “As a toy to admire, it’s tops. As a daily driver, the body-on-frame Gladiator is a horror show, a dark place of disappointment and depreciation. To anyone so inclined, I just ask, Why?

Snoop camera? Is that a thing some companies are doing?

Born and raised in the 70's in CA I had never heard of Juneteenth until several years ago. I’m chagrined to say that up until last week I had thought it was a “made up” holiday and had no idea what was behind it. My company made it a day off this year and has been sharing a lot of interesting articles and speakers

It always amazes me how people can spend so much time “showing the Man who’s boss” instead of trying to actually better themselves and/or their situation.

Referring to item 10: I’m still bitter, 30+ years later, that my parents stopped at the St. Louis arch and then wouldn’t cough up a few bucks to ride to the top.

Pretty sure in England it’s the Earl of Schiebsbury

Because Andrew said in the article “I’m imaging this to be about the size of Jason’s Changli”?

100% this. Make the unions pay for ALL settlements that go against cops. Hitting the unions in the wallet is the only way to get them to start weeding out the bad apples. It’s ridiculous that the unions force departments to keep bad employees on staff and then the cities, counties, and innocent civilians end up paying

100% this! I work at a large tech company and we just had a covid case (not the first) reported two days ago. The company is doing what it can to make sure it stays contained, and if it didn’t start or spread at work it means the safety measures are working. Ford is the same, if there are the occasional cases but they

I have a hard time believing they had to take the car. More likely they wanted him to change the paint scheme and he realized he could get way more clicks publicizing about how Disney took his car from him.

He was absolutely giddy, I loved it!

If you want to see a video of this go to 1:10 here:

“and how are my feet fitting inside the spare tire?”

Police are always walking a fine line that looks simple in hindsight. If they didn’t chase/arrest him he might have gone home and killed his roommates. Then people would be all over the cops for not arresting him when they noticed he was acting erratically in a Walmart parking lot.

I wonder how you say “yee haw” in Polish.

Ha, that’s pretty much an identical story of a blue one that used to be in my neighborhood, but disappeared from it’s driveway 2-3 years ago.

Agree but I’d also add in that if it’s a new model, like the Y, to give it some time before purchasing. For me I’d wait at least 6 months from first delivery so that Tesla can work out the production bugs.

“perpetuated panic (like this article) keeps leading to shutdowns.” That sort of implies you don’t believe this is a problem.
