My favorite surprise of the episode was how they chose to incorporate the S2 theme song into the story. Like we already know the theme songs are the fantasy she plays in her head but they all come from somewhere. And the surprise in this episode of the focus of her crazy and when the declaration "I have no

I know, right? Isn't it wonderful?

No but the subtitle for that would be "Death Won't Part Us".

Her mother isn't going to abandon her. She's too stubborn for that. In fact she might actually throw her a party to celebrate her coming to grips with what a piece of garbage her father is. I hope she plays a role in vengeance against Josh Chan. Next season Josh Chan Must Die.

Aw man, that's it! That's the movie I couldn't remember teasing at the back of my mind when I watched the Hide and Seek episode. Snowpiercer.

It's "BR" actually. "Better Reality".

The Tree Trunks episode was on a whole 'nother level. And it is ultimately best described by it's own title- "High Strangeness".

The sad thing for Doctor Gross is that her "fantastic menagerie" of hybrid creatures that were probably batshit insane looking while she was on the island are contrastingly unimpressive and average to the world she now lives in(tiny manticore, deer with hands, psychic Worm King) and I'm wondering now, looking back, if

He's still only 16. I want to see him at 18 before the series ends. That will really be perfect for a series that has run this long and actually allowed it's main character of a children's show to age and grow up. From 11-18. It's not often a children's coming-of-age cartoon extends far enough to actually

Korean Rainicorns are not glossed over.

I feel like the Guardian might be more representation of Charybdis and Scylla.

That summary of Martin's story was atrocious.
Martin Mertens was also a Hider, but he found a reason to stop running
when he met Dr. Minerva, a Helper who fell for his charms despite all
indications that he’s a total asshole. As detailed in “Min And Marty,”
they fell in love, had their son, Finn, and lived a happy life

Alva:. Draw me like one of those French girls.

Time for Banana Guard to paint a new section in his mural, I think.

I found it obvious in reasoning why PB was right for being the Candy Elemental with her scientific brain. For whatever Slime's basis is… Fire is combustion and heat while Ice is it's opposite in temperature, removing heat, causing cold etc. Candy is the most complex of the 4 elements as creating candy is a lot to do

Don't poke that bear!

"A fellow artist is in trouble?!"

Finn's "casual" voice freaked me out.

Next time: "Horse and Bat Reunion".
