Women’s attitudes towards other women, including harmful attitudes, aren’t “the same” as men’s attitudes towards women. Also, dude, you’re not “in the community” of non-hetero women.

Um, yes. People of all kinds can be aggressive in their delivery. Men are still much more so.

Maybe you're allergic to the vaccine? It's also possible to get a different strain of flu than is covered by the vacc, or still get the one covered by the vaccine but in a less severe form. 

I want to agree with you, but my totally not at all scientific anecdata states that I only get a dangerously bad flu when I actually get the shot. I wish I knew why since correlation=/=causation, and I logically know the flu shot isn’t why I get such severe symptoms.
