Same. I’m a mother and shows about kids or parents dying are a trigger for me. I see how killing a kid is an easy way to show that someone is EVIL but it feels like they are falling back on that a lot.

I think this was a mistake on the part of the writers. Maybe it really was emergency conetraception (ie, morning after pill), which was written on the package (EC) and which is what the school nurse said she got. But, the school nurse said she was pregnant, in which case the medication would have been the abortion

Good point, and I kind of thought about that after I clicked send.

Jessica Jones quibble: Patsy is her friend, not sister. Still, I am sure excited for it to come back. And I hope she does more detectiveing this time.

Exactly. Oprah seems like a very caring person, but her endorsement and propagation of “woo” is really terrible. It doesn’t tell me she has common sense or critical thinking skills, which is something I look for in a leader.

Which is one reason why my blood boils every time I hear some d-bag complain about why didn’t a woman come forward sooner. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/12/business/sexual-ha

I don’t know what that is, but I already know I’m for it.

People have been handwringing about whether an accused abuser (man) should have his career ruined for one “mistake” and yet many people aren’t thinking about the thousands of women whose careers have derailed because of these assholes. I feel so upset for these two women, and know that it happens in literally every

This year I discovered and read almost the entire catalog of Haruki Murakami.

Then you might as well go with a cup of water.

4 months late, but yes, Jessica has to be Sophia

I agree, I thought the best two parts of the episode were sign language bullshit, and Susie kicking out the interpreter. Susie was all around awesome this season. And I think now that I know the sign for bullshit I can die happy.

That was my favorite part. Go Susie.
