You forgot the fast growing new category of Karens who insist that the “real” problem is the inherent misogyny of using a gendered insult like Karen.

Looking back, the most stressful arrests I had to make in my career were arresting white women. I ALWAYS had at least woman officer with me (preferably white) and others when dealing with women like this. White women, when taken into custody, go from full Ashleigh to Miss Ann during the whole process:
You press all of the charges, you file civil suits, you go after them with everything you can and maybe the other racist dipshits will learn to keep their racism on Facebook or at Stormfront where they can’t get nailed for it.
Apparently my “every couple years” was low. An official said it’s 1-3 a year.
I mean, he’s fine. He’s moved on with his life. Clearly she hasn’t. But I believe Mr Cooper got back into the comics world through some stories he told about this incident, and is living his best life.
Springfield resident here.
I was working as a contractor at Microsoft Game Studios several years ago, when some game studio (I can’t remember which one) made headlines by setting up a pavilion outside the Expo that included a stripper pole. I said something about that being not at all cool, and some of my (male) coworkers spoke up in defense of…
In the video she asks the question, people in the crowd cheer and the men on the panel looks chastened. Then men in the audience start booing loudly and you can see the panel become emboldened to start openly making fun of her. There is a lessen here about the fact that the misogyny in the game industry is reinforced…
In the context of the other articles on the himbos, I think I can finally put my finger on the Pete Davidson hit or miss appeal. In my assessment he is a particular type of east coast himbo, hence perhaps the spotty appeal. I would be curious among those in his fan club, if they are more east coaster. From my west…
I’m all of these, except the headbanger, although I used to be that too. I’m also a 44 year old woman who lives in the suburbs (in California, dude.) So there’s that.
Celebrated punk musician?
I’m relatively heavily tattooed and I date preppy looking guys pretty much exclusively. I also don’t feel I’ve ever really been judged for them, though I do tend to keep them under wraps when meeting family the first few times.
On a side note...let’s never refer to Blink 182 or Good Charlotte as “punk" ever again because no...just no. That’s about as mainstream pop as it gets no matter what their publicist will have you believe.
With Davidson it wasn’t much of an issue at all.
If you go to any car movie for reality and physics lessons you are going to be severely disappointed.
Mid-length denim skirts are the daily staple of the Pentecostal women who work at my company. They are never okay and I would bet my life savings they’ll be gone from those catalogs in a hot minute.
We have Amish people come down to Indianapolis to the malls, or when they sell produce, etc at farmer’s markets and the women wear them sometimes. I’m sure because they’re long and cover a lot of skin.
This is exactly my problem with them. They skew “scary Christian” far too easily. You have to do some serious work to overcome that.
This is pretty much the only thing that needs to be said on this matter. Godspeed, LizTaylorsEarrings. Godspeed.
The problem with a denim skirt that is longer than your knees is that even if you wear just a bra with it, I’m going to automatically think “oh is she one of *those* Christians?”
