First gen if I recall had some transmission problems. Second gen you want the 350. I had a 3rd gen and sold it at 135k and was just regular upkeep. My aunt had 2 2nd gen’s and now a 3rd gen F-Sport. They kept one of the 2nd gen’s a 350 and it has still perfect with over 200k miles on it.

Eah...won’t much matter to the RV which can most likely tow 5k lbs if its a Class C or higher if Class A.

I would suggest a Chevy/GMC Colorado. Fits the bill and can also throw a golf cart or moped/bikes in the bed for destination exploration. Can find one under budget and should have decent resale. Not to mention actual off road ability.

I agree, why I want to upgrade my 04 4Runner V8 but honestly nothing is a “good” upgrade just less old with not much newer tech for a LOT more money and little/no improvement in MPG.

So...looks like the roof was cut before the tire exploded...

Wife...can I buy a wagon to replace your car...”ew no”
Wife...can I buy a wagon for me...”yes, but I will not drive or be seen in it and it has to replace your fun car”
Alas I have no wagons and only 1 manual.

Apparently she wanted a extra under-body wash...

Never seen diesel at a Costco I have gotten fuel at. Craziness.

Why you get the 4th gen with the V8 or GX460.

And by Chevy you mean Ford on the pickup truck emoji?

Last gen was 1800kg or about 4k lbs

Remember watching this video a while ago...

Just shy of 600 hours here

I just figured they were using a Z06 and it kept overheating.

Buy a used Tundra Crew Max + a topper for the dogs.

Not sure why this was not mentioned but if you want a S Class SUV...you get a Range Rover. Course it doesn’t have a 3rd row but that is what the Driver, Nanny and the second Range Rover is for.

I have a 2017 JLR product, this comment is accurate.

Am I the only one hoping the 718 becomes undesirable and I will finally be able to buy a fairly newish Porsche for a spouse understanding price?

4th Gear: I know this will never happen, but if you want to get people to move to more fuel efficient cars/EV/Hybrids and fix our crumbling roads/bridges you need to add like $1-2/gallon of gas tax nationwide. Get prices in line with Europe/Canada. This could be done slowly over the course of 5 years.

Neutral: GM

Because if you wanted any safety features pre 2020 4Runner (Blind spot, radar cruise), crawl control + auto climate control or a V8, 6spd auto you only had the Lexus as a option. Also the 4Runner only gets auto climate control and full time AWD on the Limited model.
