Typically I got tired of vehicles after about the 1 yr mark - 2 if they are lucky. I have owned my 4Runner for over a year and still like that but the desire to mod is strong.
My Jag shuts off when you stop, put it in park and unbuckle if auto start/stop system is active. I like it about 75% of the time.
I just pour some seafoam into my 4Runner V8 every so often and it still runs butter smooth with 226k

My childhood memories are peppered with a Premier that my dad was constantly fixing. The owners replaced it with a Intrepid which had about the same repair rate.
